Kenilworth has some of the oldest homes on the North Shore, and many still have their original basements. Back then a basement was just for the furnace and storage, so the concrete was poured rough and left bare.
Today families want that space as a gym, playroom or wine cellar, but the old floor shows its age with patches, hairline cracks and dust that never quite goes away.
Old concrete, fixed first. We fill cracks and grind the surface before an epoxy basement floor goes down, so it bonds and lasts.
Keep the original look. Concrete sealing protects an old floor while keeping its character, and makes it easier to clean.
Garage to match. Coating the garage in the same project keeps the whole house consistent.
